Toledo Villa FC has announced that it has signed a deal with Northview High School, in the Toledo suburb of Sylvania, to host both the men’s and women’s home matches for the 2017 Premier League of America (PLA) and United Women’s Soccer (UWS league season.
“Northview HS has a great facility and provides the men’s and women’s Villa with an excellent venue for both the players and the fans,” said Dave Hebestreit, general manager for Toledo Villa FC. “Northview teams have a history of playing at a high level and have competed for several state titles in recent years, so we are confident that the stadium is perfect for PLA and UWS play.”
The Northview HS stadium features a full-sized press box, seating for 3,000, concession area and restroom facilities. There are also home and visitor locker rooms and year- round turf field for play. Lourdes University calls Northview HS home and the field is within walking distance of downtown Sylvania and less than half mile from Sylvania Pacesetter Park.
The Toledo Villa FC men’s team, will host six home games at Northview HS with the home opener scheduled for Sunday, May 21st versus Muskegon Risers FC at 7:30 p.m. The Villa women will also host seven home games at Northview with their home opener also scheduled for May 21st against Michigan Legends SC at 5:00 p.m.
